In recent years, concerns about environmental issues in buildings have increased dramatically resulting in new and often confusing regulations and guidelines.
To assist building owners, property managers, Health and Safety Committee members, maintenance personnel and all others concerned with the well being of their staff, building occupants, and the general public; Power Environmental Management is pleased to offer a series of practical, hands-on training courses.
Power Environmental has unique training qualifications and capabilities. As a value added service provider, our in-house staff includes both senior abatement specialists with years of contracting experience and an Occupational Hygienist with a solid appreciation of Health and Safety issues. This combination enables Power Environmental to provide training that, in addition to meeting Ontario Ministry of Labour training guidelines, can be tailored to suit the specialized needs of each client and facility. Our objective is training that attendees can relate to and use.
Some of our most popular courses include:
- “Asbestos Management and Abatement in Facilities”
- “Asbestos Worker/Handler”
- “Asbestos Awareness”
- “Understanding O. Reg. 278/05” (the new asbestos regulation for buildings)
- “Training Course on the Investigation, Assessment and Remediation of Moulds in Facilities”

- The training of maintenance staff for the Type 2 removal of HVAC filters in buildings with sprayed asbestos fireproofing.
